thought this was some cool video watching it, and since it was on espn2 as well its pretty dang ole darn nifty. the event was in indy at irp about a month ago, espn 2 did their 1st show on drifting with it that aired today at 130 pm cdt, very well put together. anywyas, to the video, pretty fun to watch.

yeah, engine setup is a stock internal ls1, magna charger @ 5psi throwing down about 420/420 at the wheels. t350 auto tranny, and a minispool.
the espn2 coverage cuts off 1/3 the way thru for some reason, im trying to find the whole thing now.

its got a b&m full ratchet shifter and a manual valve body (obviously with the shifter)
i normally use the feint teqnique to initiate, you turn the directiong opposite of the drift and then abruptly turn the direction of the drift to initiate by overloading hte rear tires, your doing a slight bit of trail braking while doing this and normally full throttle (spool helps do this as well)

that was a fun event and was a good show, but next to you it seems the Caddy CTSV was a fav. what you think of that thing and how come it did not compete?? Also when i was looking at the V it seemed he was the only car to not have a Ebrake, what your thoughts on that, do u realy need it?
here is the complete show, sorry it so long

cts-v didnt compete because he doesnt have a rollcage, he got like 4th or so in the amateur competitiong
you dont need an ebrake to drift, i didnt have one until the 4th event in formula d this year, i honestly was only using it on the 1st corner at indy and on my qualifying run with the 360 i never even looked at it, basically mid drift its a tool to extend the slide a long way while holding angle. some peopel use it to intiate but i just dont think its that fun to do that. cts-v is a sweet car though, i want one.

You know. I bet when those corporate monkies & gheyDM guys bought that over here in the U.S., they had no idea that LS1 powered elky's, goats, vipers, & amateur CTS caddies would be owning um.
I'm proud to be an American.
Props MikeSpeed. I've been seeing you in the mags. Keep up the goodwork.

Been Following you on G4-TVs Formula Drift like 5550racing mentioned. =)
Glad the Domestic guys are laying down the hammer in such a short time.
