Pontiac's at the Ren Cen I went to check out the public display in the lobby of the Ren Cen in Detroit and took these pics. This month, the theme is Pontiac performance. Mostly they just have new vehicles in stock form, but there were a couple cool things, namely the twin turbo blue GTO and the red GTO. Looking at the VIN on the red one, it is an early build 2004, built in the last quarter of 2003, but it still has hood scoops and the 2005 exhaust and rear bumper. I’d be a little pissed if I had a 2004, cuz GM claimed they didn’t have enough time to make those changes before getting it to market for the 2004 model year. The other possibility is the car was a stock 2004 and instead of scrapping it, they made it a test mule for those 2005 changes. I thought the G6 with the silver body kit was kind of funny too. Everyone ripped on Pontiac in the 90’s for too much body cladding, and they claimed they were all done when the 2004 Grand Prix came out, but I guess they couldn’t resist old habits. Anyway, enjoy the pics.

Great, a GM that looks more and more like a stang! what a bunch o'crap!
Im sorry, but a GTO shouldnt have its name drug thru the import mud like this!
