The Cobra got him good.
Was that the 1/8th mile?
Why did the Supra let off before he got to the camera on the first video?
Did the Supra break down on the 2nd run? Is that why they had to push it? Looked kind of like he quit pulling. Intercooler pipe came off?
What turbochargers did the Cobra have and at what boost? Also what was the setup and boost for the Supra?
BTW... Bad *** Mustang and a good kill.

Taken off of SVTPerformance.com and written by the owner of the Supra:
"Hey, someone found this all the way over here!
Here's the car's setup (Mine)
1994 Supra Turbo
BoostLogic T71 GTQ at 20.5lbs
TH400, non lockup, 4000 stall
950CC's, twin pumps, etc...
suspension, etc...
The car dynoed 490.6RWHP at 20.5psi - I'm running 27lbs now.
The car, as said by the Mustang owner, is "Definitely a mid-high 10 second car."
As for the Mustang - The guys at DELK PERFORMANCE were nice enough to take me for a ride in it, and it has run a best of 9.1X something at 15XMPH.
Mustang's Setup
Supposed 1200whp
Mustang Cobra chassis
Built 5.0L, Twin T28's with the wastegates SHUT
28lbs of boost on race gas
150 shot of nitrous
2 speed Glide
Slicks
It was quite a race, but I have nothing for that car - it's so much more car than mine could ever be right now, and for the money invested, it's just plain AWESOME. Riding in that car, from 0-160mph was insane - especially the launch and then the 150shot once the car got going. Totally made me **** my pants - I was clenching, and all that while the car was going sideways.
I won't deny that the car is fast, but for my car racing and beating several other respectable cars around the Mid-TN area - this is one that I have no problem losing to at all - simply amazing to see this car run and see how fast it is. My car will never be in the 9's, because honestly I can't afford to keep it running, much less that fast, so the goal of 10's was met, and that's honestly way fast enough for me.
I hope that you all enjoyed the video - I sure as hell did racing the guy... Oh, as far as the second attempt - he scared the **** out of me - we came so close to touching when he came over on me, that I let out and then got back into it when he passed me. I think that had I not let out, we would have had an accident."

Ya that is a pretty sick stang. He needs to keep a little more control over it though. Alotta guys would flip out after a race liek teh second one. He was obviously pullin on him hard why couldnt he let off the gas a bit to straighten the hell out? I dunno. GL

The Supra was fine, nothing happened to it, it just doesn't have a reverse gear.
