Default (dialup DIE) Photoshoot of my dad's '69 Z/28 and friends '85 Iroc

Went out the other day with a friend to take some pics. His car is a fully restored (built) 85' Iroc......and I drove my dad's 69' Z/28. Ignore the telephone poles and lines in the parking lot......we had a hard time finding a decent spot.

........Beautiful, just absolutely beautiful. Both of their paint jobs look flawless . I just found my desktop background picture . Awesome pics. Some of the cleanest looking cars right there. Good stuff.

That '69 is a gorgeous car, and I really like the liscense plate, though I am a little unsure as to what is being stroked....

The car is my dad's, and he is a big Clarence Carter fan. "Strokin" is one of his more famous songs. Alot of people assume its a stroker motor.

No times on the '69 yet. My dad bought the car in around '91 after returning from Desert Storm, and it has since been restored. Around '98 I installed a ZZ4 crate motor, after tossing in a bigger cam and some other goodies. It should be good for around 350rwhp.......which goes through the close ratio Muncie M-22 four speed, and the factory 3.73 equipped 12 bolt.

The '85 Iroc has been completely 'frame off' restored. It took 3 years to do it "right".....and that it was. Its a forged small block, aluminum heads.......and some gas. It has run a 11.2 @124mph on motor........driven to the track (1.5 hours away). Gas times yet to come
