That truck is impressive. It would have moved out even faster if the driver was better. I could light a cigar in between those shifts.

im sure the shifter is 3ft long so its expected..hell its a 68 TRUCK...it impressed me !

6.0l LQ4 with some kind of manual behind it. Not ALL old technology there.

I had one of those S-10 SS's back in 97 and the shifter was pretty long, maybe 18". Trust me, those were some s-l-o-w shifts. Truck is very fast none the less.
