wow, really sets your car off. nicely done. Comparing that pic with the one in your sig, I'd say your car looks alot meaner.

How the hell did you get it not to run? How long did it take to tape them up? It must have took forever.

ditto ^ also, did u just use that paint alone...any clear coats?
I'm plain out tired of trying to get the little tiny dirt spots out of my wheel corners lol that alone would be worth it to paint the wheels. Don't think it'd look too bad either. i'm a big fan of the black on black paint/wheel combination, and some other dark paint colors.
Sometimes chrome just doesn't do it for me

Get some degreaser, clean the wheels very very good, this is the most important part... I spent about 20 minutes a wheel just cleaning them....i used a toothbrush to get into the corners...after washing them i used a towel to dry them, and followed that with a microfiber cloth...

Then i got some 800 grit sand paper and roughed up the surface where i was going to paint...a scotch pad will work aswell... After sanding i again wiped down the wheels with a microfiber cloth, then i starting masking off the sections like this

then i went over the spots in between with thicker masking tape to save time and effort...I shoved a bunch of painters plastic into the inside of the wheel and taped the sides to the wheel so i wouldnt accidently paint it...I then began spraying small light coats, if u spray heavy coats it is more likely to run...i kept putting small coats around, giving the paint a little time to set, then kept going over and over until i was pleased with the look...i let them sit for 2 hours them i mounted them up...

Took me a while but after i did the first 2 the last 2 were easy as pie..

They look good, and these look real good too.

Did you end up clear coating or no? Once lowering the car comes around its going to look even better, good job.
