Only problem with the SRT8 is that it is about as fast as its going to get. With the trailblazer SS you can do all the good aftermarket upgrades the SRT8 has a computer that is limited and the aftermarket for that engine just isnt out there.

Just a $400 tune in the Trailblazer SS is dropping 1/2 sec. on the ET. That's enough to spank the Jeep and still have a bunch of money left over.

I hope the flashing hazards were to warn oncoming motorists. It's a thing to do for any other reason.

Who's SS?

AFAIK........
The only company that has a 'tune' available is Vector.
The only company that has a proto intake available is Vector, unless it was a homebrew.
The only company that has a catback available is Magnaflow, and StainlessWorks soon.

My SS walked a GC-SRT8 on M59 about 3 weeks ago from 65-100mph, with *just* the VCM tune. Hence, I'd like to know which of my local SS owners didn't get the same result with the above mods....??

What Intake, exhaust and tune does he have? The only thing I thought that was available yet was the tune.

Hope somebody in a SRT-8 decides to put one on a track soon. At jeepsunlimited.com they are all over Car&Driver saying there's 0.9 sec advantage.....

As far as mods go I highly doubt the TB was intake, tune and exhaust modified. Especially since 2/3 are not available yet.

Upon further review I realize now that the only SRT vs TB run is the last one on the clip. Which TB SS is supposed to have the intake, tune and CAI? Both?

Simple Question....How do you know the SS has all that??

And yes that's as quick as the SRT8 is getting W/O a S/charger/N2o, at least from my forum surfing...they set the jeep to rock out of the factory, whereas in typical GM fashion "WE" have to finish the job!!

And one last thing....I just bought a TBSS last week..2WD...so I can lift the left front wheel with some traction & a few mods!

There are plenty of mods for the SRTs on the link below, and more to come from what they are saying on the SRT forums.
