You never know the cars setup that motor might be in a hatch back or something but never the less the design of it is beyond me.

It was actually custom made to go in the rear engine bay of a Lotus Exige with a K20A swapped in. So yeah, not much room to spare.

I just thinks it looks crazy!

Guess again. The K20A is a stout little motor. Not an LS1 by a longshot, but not a weakling.
