Modded C6 Z06 exhaust video
Got new headers and other bolt ons put on the car last week. Here's a really short video of how the car sounds from the outside now. Enjoy!

Yeah, the video is not that great. We didn't have much time, and weren't at a good angle. It pops a lot (normal) at very high rpms, and I was pretty much at the rev limiter each time I went by. I'll try to make another, it really didn't do the car justice. Here are some pictures from the shop.

Keep in mind, I'm NOT wanting the car to have a completely different sound. So I guess I'm more happy that it sounds "good" while still holding a lot of the stock sound to it. Maybe that's why I'm more impressed with it than others. But yeah, it definitely sounds better in person....but still not as good as any aftermarket cat back does.

Ok, got all the information I wanted. Sorry for taking so long to post the numbers. I know this is quite a long drawn out post just to give a dyno number, but even though I know what my final power output is, I'm still a little unsure as to what GAINS I achieved exactly. So here goes: MTI always dynos their cars with the hood down, and the engine warm. The first day I went into the shop, I asked if he knew what my base pulls were. He told me it dyno'd 440 cold, and 410 hot. So after everything was done and he gave me my dyno sheet, it showed a base pull of 429.3/407 and a final pull of 481.9/458.5. I asked him what the conditions were for the final pull, and he said it was done with the hood down, engine at 200 degrees, and no fan. I am not sure if the AC was on or not during that pull. So, I gained somewhere between 53 and 72rwhp out of the package.
I am going to try to take the car back to the original shop that dyno'd my car several months ago, and see what it does there to compare the two. They let the car completely cool down, pop the hood, and blow a big fan on it. I did a base pull of 460/430 there, stock. If/when I get to dyno there again, I'll post up those numbers as well.

Youll never get a classic muscle sound out of the LS7, its an entirely different animal.
