Default Updated-New Shoes on the Z, its about time-UPDATED-somethin got done to it yesterday

alright, i took a few quick pics really fast before i came back to work at the end of my lunch...i think they look really good, but they'll look 100 times better once it gets dropped this weekend...ya'll give me your opinions...i know i've heard a lot of people don't like chrome on silver cars but oh well, i like it and well, thats all that matters...they're 17"x9.5" all the way around...even though i do wish i would have gone with the 18's now...more pics after this weekend when its washed and lowered...

oh and beside my car is my new neighbor's 01 cobra...heh...1st pic was with my camera phone this mornin so the quality sucks...the others are from my digital camera

thanks man, its actually a little dirty in my book. but i try to wash it once a week, detail it every other week, and wax it about once a month...not too many people around here have the Z06 rims either so thats a BIG plus (i've seen maybe one or two), i love that fact b/c they've been turnin heads like crazy...

yea zo6 rims are sick as hell, the setup im going with is weld prostars 15x3(front) by 15x8(rear) i prefer that more cuz i get u can say i like the old skool set up but your car looks good man, u should do the whistler mod also and maybe the berger panel. i did both myself they came out pretty good man.

That's funny that you call the "shoes", my buddy got a new pair of shoes (actual shoes that go on human feet) and he asked if I wanted to see his new "tires" I laughed it off thinking he was screwing with me. But no, they were a special Goodyear edition Adidas. I laughed my *** off when I saw them. I wonder if Adidas was playing off the slang term of calling wheels and tires "shoes"

And nice "wheels" man. I dig the Z06 wheels on Camaros.

eh trust me i'm wanting 18's now, but it'll be alright. I'm glad you guys like em on my car, I haven't got a lot of good feedback from the people here where i'm from. I've gotten some, mainly from girls(i'm def. not complainin about that ). But then again most of the people i know here aren't LS1 people...

thanks man, I go up to Auburn every year for the football games of course and i go up through Phenix City every now and then...But yea we've got Dothan Dragway which is in Cottonwood right outside of Dothan(about a 5 minute drive)... http://www.dothandragway.com/ ...The track use to be pretty bad off but they re-paved it last yr so from what i hear its a LOT better...if you ever decide to come down, we'll ride out there one night. I'm sure i could get up a few local f-body and mustang people to come a long...

yea, unfortunatly, i don't have the money to upgrade to 18's at this moment...but in a few weeks i will. so we'll see what i can do. I actually found out that my g/f's boss's dad owns a rim shop about 30 minutes from here and he said he'd hook me up so i'm gonna ride down there and see what he can do for me this weekend.

Looks good. I think you need some lowering springs to set it off. Look in my sig.I had 18's all around on my SS with no lowering springs. My car sits kinda higher than others in the rear. I ended up selling them. Silver is a great color for wheels. Your car would have also looked killer with some black ZR1's or Fikse's with a polished lip. Also Ground effects and Mustangs =
