my new toy i know alot of you prolly dont care but im bored and wanted to post this up. i hate fords... promised myself id never buy one unless it was a new cobra.... well i came across a deal, my buddy needed money so i bought his 6 year on going project from him. its an 88 ranger, 302, 5 speed, short throw shifter, msd (plugs, wires, box, distributer cap and coil), nos plate system, cobra r's, shaved door handles, tailgate, rollpan, mirrors, door poppers, sideways mounted liscense plate,euros, lowered in the back, lowering springs for the front (not installed), custom made cowl hood, mustang console, all gauges, fiberglass dash (in the works), custom door panels (in the works), billet grille..shorty headers, x pipe, flowmasters 40 series, underdrive pulleys, elderbrock intake, elderbrock carb, 8.8 rearend with 355 gears with spool, fuel cell, battery relocate to bed, i know im leaving alot of things out i thought i got a good deal, let me know what ya think... i plan on putting a cam, heads and paint in the next week or so....

Good deal. 302s can be one hell of a little motor if you build them right. Fords are more complicated to work with than GM but there is NOTHING wrong with Ford. Hell most the time I like my Ford over my GM, honestly.

yea u can tell im not a computer wiz, i tried to resize the pics and they turned out real small so i said **** it.... yea that NOS botlle is old school as hell, lol gotta get that **** painted when the truck gets painted

lol probly... ive never used nitrous, but i got a shop down this way that will probly fill it anyways...i still gotta buy the lines and **** it jus came with bottle solenoids and the plate...i got my work cut out for me on this truck... its been a project for 6 years and is not even close to done... i figured id fix it all up and sell it back to him

well if u would ****** read what i wrote it says i BOUGHT IT LIKE THIS.... which means i didnt ****** put a sideways liscense plate on the son of a bitch.. so it aint my fault... this truck started out as a lowrider project that turned more towards the performance side and it is an 88 so yeah it probly was cool back then..... i paid 500$ for the mother ******... i could care less if the plates was upside down....i dont like the plates but its whatever for 500$...i do agree with you on one thing though... i hate fords too, but i think it will be and alright toy to mess around with... i got the Z for a daily driver til i fix the renger up, then they will switch

I'm so glad we have posters like you, makes everyone else look that much better.
Midnight - Good luck with the build. Re-doing the plate and a cleanup job/paint/motor and you could have a nice truck.
