What colour is it? Is that the residence of a university president? If so, what university? When was it built? Early- to mid-19th century?

The car is a 98 and it came from the factory Cayanne Red Metallic. The building belongs to the current president of my college, which is the University of Alabama. The mansion was built in 1841, but the college was created 10 years earlier.
The weather was beautiful here today, I took several more pictures.
