Default Pontiac FIRE AM
also found this from the racingsportscars site. It raced at Laguna Seca in October 1981, so it would have been over a year before the 3rd gen was released. Anyone know anything about this car? Maybe Pontiac were thinking of having a Fire Am rather than a seperate Firebird and Trans Am?

Fire Ams were mostly a 2nd gen thing build by VSE (Herb Adams)...Dont know anything about this 3rd gen, though.
