Test Shoot: Cats and Dogs... and Goats!?
It was raining cats and dogs this morning but I wanted to try a few things so I took the Goat out for a few pictures. Obviously I didn't have the best lighting and the car was literally filthy (I wiped the wheels off real quick with a microfiber towel because they had heavy dirt buildup on them from all the rain the past few days).
I personally prefer pictures that are a bit darker and with more contrast but from a technical standpoint they are underexposed slightly, the blacks and darks are a bit crushed, and the contrast is a bit heavy and unnatural. I wanted to take a few pictures to play around with different camera settings and editing techniques to get more "photographically correct" end results. I can say that I still prefer my darker, more dramatic style for most situations but these didn't come out too bad.
For comparison...
A few examples of the darker style:

I always love your pictures. A combination of a tastefully modified goat with great photography skills. Every time you post a new picture up I have a new desktop. You take such great pictures. I love the color on your car. It goes great with those wheels. I love them.

As per request, I had to go back and edit from RAW... forgive mistakes as its Cinco de Mayo and I've been celebrating but here are the same pictures by the process I normally use...

It's not much of a difference but to me that slightly darker, more contrasted look takes the edge off and makes the pictures easier on my eyes.
