On the recent Hot Rod drag tour there were quite a few street cars driving from strip to stip in the mid 7 sec range

they have a street legal world champoin ship, well, i dont know what makes a car exactly "street legal" but they were goin 6.40's

accually the fastest legal car is the one in my sig it goes 7.2 with 2000hp at the crank and the driver is making a 69 camaro with 3000hp streetable with full interior and sterio with a/c and he hopes to go low 6s or high 5s in the quarter mile!!!!!!!!!!!!!
