the second vid venom posted was the one i was looking for but theyre all awesome vids. How the hell do those guys shift so damn fast? a combo of super short throw and no clutching? ***** crazy

I can shift my car just as fast as that, its a combo of a great shifter and good hand eye coordination.

^^^^ding ding ding we have a winner. Now i can row the gears pretty good, but I only wish i could power shift like that. Just can't bring myself to do it on my DD.

Yeah alot of the better turbo import guys shift like that to "keep boost up". My boy josh can do that **** in a SRT-4 and honda, but is afraid of driving V8's w/ RWD.

Pretty easy. It's all timing and practice. Side step the clutch, throttle to the boards and grab the gear.

Too much clutch, you'll hit rev limiter, or totally negate the reason for powershifting.

Too little and you'll miss the gear.

Another technique is called "Heel to toe." At one time, someone posted how to shift using just your "heel and the toe" of your shoe to shift. Not your whole leg, like some people.

I powershift my car all the time but after I rebuilt my trans 3 times I STOPED doing it now I grenny shift all the time

Its tap the clutch shift all at the same time while staying WOT, I never used my whole right leg either, some people think they have to stomp through the floor lol


Ive never had a problem doing it and the T56s feels awsome, make sure your Hydro's are up to date with a 2002 if you having shifting problems
