To each his own. I still have a lot of work to do to get it cleaned up and looking better. Dan I agree that car looks awesome but there is no way you could put a air filter on that car. I still drive mine on the street (a lot) as well to the track.

I'm gonna get something better in the near future. That is something that was in the garage at the time and I threw it on so I could put some miles on it

I don't get everyone saying they wouldn't do that to a CE, even if you wanted to sell it all you'd have to do is swap out the top end and you'd be back to practically square 1... You haven't done anything to the car you couldn't undo long in the future when a CE is really worth enough for you to sell it..

I bought the car to drive and enjoy, regradless of it being a CE. Yes the car was gonna be on a drag strip from the first day I owned it. If I would have bought a HOSS or a Firehawk I would have done the samething when it came time to pull the motor.

Well it would be hard to fix the cowl that's been cut to fit the carb set up. At least to get it back to were it was before.
You do what you want with your car as long as your happy that's all that matters. But just a thought would it be cheaper to pick up a V-6 car and gut it and do everything you have done to this car?

well for the people that are against the carb idea its alot cheeper to tune the car its alot easier to tune the car. It has also been proven to be faster then a sheet metal intake setup
