Yeah like I said its brand new and needs a driver mod but keep in mind the Lexus had more power and its very light Too.

Suprisingly the GE motor (n/a) thats in the Is300's and the Gs300's actually has a better head than the GTE motor which is the twin turbo version. I loved my SS camaro, but after working around supras for quite a while I do have respect for their motors and engineering. Its like the Japanese LS1

I know this is an old thread but I came across it after seeing the youtube vid. Just so you guys know... The 2jz does come in the is300, just NA. With the exception of the oil squirters in the block the internals are identical to eaach other. The 2jz was actually designed for the lexus sc300. The quickest stock block sc300 today is in the nines. Not to mention that the is300 head and electronics will work directly with a Supra 2jz block.
