All have 5.7 liter and weigh nearly the same. But the LS1 is significantly faster due to its higher redline and more torque higher in the powerband.

Tx 2K8, who gives a ****. Its hard to run when your facing the sky. When a stock production block Lsx hits mid 6's at over 215, then you can come talk to me. And please dont show me an iron based platform, becuase those where not production.

No one said it was an accomplishment nor was I comparing ****. Facing the sky? too bad, not anyones fault. Racing is racing and the 'mighty' Supra LOST. A stock production block LSx DID in fact go mid 6's @ over 200mph. It was an IRON LSx motor, you know the production block that the LQ9 and LQ4 use as a basis. Yea..thats PRODUCTION buddy.

Who gives a **** about a production block? A faster car is a faster car, especially once both cars have 1000s of dollars in them. Your comment about the LS1 weighing about the same as the LT1 and L98 is WAY off too. There ARE production 6.0 iron LSx blocks that can take big hp anyway, and I'm pretty sure that is what the guy in this particular vid was using. I can't remember its been so long since he first posted up that vid with particulars about his setup.
