I love that video. It is one of my absolute favorites. What is the story on them though? I have heard that they weren't evenly matched. That the Trans Am was in the neighborhood of around 800hp and the Supra was like 600hp. Can someone fill me in on the truth about these 2 cars. Were they an even match or not? What is there actual hp rating in that race against each other?

T/A owner is member on here goes by MECHAM if I'm not mistaken in vid T/A was in low 700rwhp and Supra was low Mid 600rwhp PM if you want to know his setup.
Both cars are very mean but the T/A is another level.
OH The vid is very very old but always fun to watch it again.

Its funny that this is one of the few videos ls1 owners revert back to against any runs dealing with supras. I can sit here and post hundreds of supras tearing a new one on ls1's, ls7's, vipers, cobras, bikes, etc......The trans am has over 150hp over the supra. Nothing special about the outcome imo.

Its funny that this is one of the few videos ls1 owners revert back to against any runs dealing with supras. I can sit here and post hundreds of supras tearing a new one on ls1's, ls7's, vipers, cobras, bikes, etc......The trans am has over 150hp over the supra. Nothing special about the outcome imo.
EDIT - Or how about the fact that at the biggest Supra meet in the world, TX2K8, two LSx cars won? An N/A car with a 6 speed mind you and a Turbo LSx...Guess your "precious" Supra just isn't the end all be all, is it?

And I find it funny that a Supra nut swinger gets all bent out of shape on an LS1 forum when their "precious" Supra gets WALKED. As far as your lame comment about posting videos blah blah...I can do the same but with the tides turned.

. Tx 2K8, who gives a ****. Its hard to run when your facing the sky. When a stock production block Lsx hits mid 6's at over 215, then you can come talk to me. And please dont show me an iron based platform, becuase those where not production.
Its just funny as hell becuase this is the only video you all have.
