Default Check this photo out

A friend and I took took a cruise last week in what is locally known as "the valley" in northern DE/west chester, PA, and he got some pics of the '96 (EDIT: 95) Cobra I'm driving for the time being. Check it out.
the first one's my favorite =)

Car: Stock 1996 (EDIT: 1995) SVT Cobra convertible w/ Fiberglass hardtop (365/1200 made if I'm not mistaken)

Are you sure that's a 96? Where is the cobra hood? Also, I didn't know they made hardtop vert's in 96?

ooh i thought i typed an R after 850...

yes it's an 850R... one of 800 imported in red in 96 I think. but he's running 17psi and gets around 300 horsepower (not bad for an inline-5)

100% sure it's a 96 (EDIT: I'm a retard. It's a 95). It has the cobra 5.0L 302 engine... No snake eyes hood, they started that in 97 as far as I know, along with the DOHC 4.6L 281
EDIT: It's a 95, and I'm an idiot. Read on. Sorry for my bullshit

and the did make a handful of vert w/ detachable fiberglass Hardtops

that car is not a 96. 96 started with the new style cobra hood and in 96 they started the modular 4 cam engins in them. that car is eather a 94 or 95.

hmm.. that's something...
I guess it is a 95, lol. thanks for setting it straight.

Idk where I got 96 though... I'll have to look at the SVT certificate or something if I can get a chance (the car does not belong to me)

there is no way that car is a 96 man, they stopped putting the 5.0L 302 in 1995, so the 94 and 95 cars had the 5.0 in them, 96-98 have the 4.6. i know as well becouse i had a 94 GT.

Yeah... I wish I could afford a decent LS1 car Hopefully after my first semester of Co-op next year I'll be able to put a down payment on a T/A... the cobra's not even mine... I just drive it when I feel like it. =) But thanks for the input.
