Exclamation buyer/seller beware TWISTA TA

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=145836
I sent him this intake manifold in trade for the LS6 he was currently running, now he is selling the one I sent him. I have heard nothing but excuses, and haven't seen the intake he was supposed the send me.

EDIT: Ok he claims that was a different LS6 intake. I'll post when I actually get an intake back though.

Ok, just got the intake. He sent a STOCK LS1 intake.

Now his PM's are full, and he doesn't respond to email.

Paging PSJ!
I would give Pro Stock John a PM about the situation, and see if he can remedy his PM's being full. If he sent you a stock LS1 Manifold instead of the promised LS6, that is theft by deception. They put you in cuffs for that.

Whats this crap you are saying that I sent you the wrong intake I sent you the old intake off my car that is what we agreed on and that is what I did. It took a little longer to get it off than I thought. Is that why you are pissed off and telling lies. The intake you sent me had a crack on it that I had to fix with PC7.

Why would a person trade a ls1 intake for a ls1 intake? Doest that sound stupid, even to you?

I traded him my ls6 intake for his ls6 with egr hookup. His ls6 that he sent me had a big crack in it that I had to repair with PC7. The intake I sent him was in perfect shape. Now he is being childish and saying that I sent him a ls1 intake. That is F***ING CRAP Thats why it is hard to trust people because of things like what angst911 is trying to pull.

When I see threads like this, I make a mental note not to trust either of you.

I'm very disappointed to see a thread like this.

See, here's the thing, I sent you my LS6, you sent me your LS1 intake. On the issue of the crack, it was fine when it shipped, you failed to inspect it upon receipt, since you didn't, I couldn't file a claim with fedex.

A Note, the intake you sent me obviously came from a junkyard. It's got junkyard numbers written on it. I can post a picture of you need.

I can say that Twista TA ripped me off for $300 too, never responds to emails except to say he has been trying to email me a bunch of times. Only plus for me is that he doesnt live that far away. As soon as I get time I am taking a drive over there.

I'll post pictures tomorow, the intake is at the shop with my car. The intake you sent does not have a flat bottom, and has a hole for the factory EGR tube, it can't be anything but a ls1 intake.

I finally have gotten a hold of this guy to get his address. I will be sending his merchandise 3-18-04. I will also provide him with a tracking number. That whole ordeal was just lack of communication.

Angst, post pictures asap so more light can be shed on this situation. I'll wait until then to take any more action...

A mental note to both of you and everyone else. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE rule for this kinda BS. If infact it's proven that one person screwed the other one over, you will be given a title in which you cannot erase that shows your bad trading history and everyone that see's your FS threads will be able to see it. And I just may throw a word in myself every time I see a thread. I can promise it'll hurt your business....Lets rectify this situation first before any of that has to happen...

LS1tech doesn't ask a lot, but we won't allow people to get screwed here if we can help it...

that is NOT the intake that was in the box... so now you are trying to tell me that someone at fedex opened the box, took the ls6 out, and put a ls1 intake in.

If this is true, then I sure as hell hope you put an isured value on the package when you sent it, then we can file a claim with fedex, we will both probably have to sign afidavids and the such, and hopefully everything will be clear, but I still have a hard time believing that happened.

My coworker saw me open the package, get annoyed very quickly, and then demonstrate to him how it was a ls1 intake.

I'll post pictures of what I got tomorow.
