Default Unfair negative feedback.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/itrader.php?u=166148

Worked a deal to sell this guy some CTS-V wheels. He paid me on a holiday while I was at the lake. That night I got the wheels loaded in my truck to take and ship the next morning. That next morning (less than 24 hours after he paid) I noticed someone broke in my truck and stole the wheels. Knowing the wheels weren't going to magically find their way home, I immediately sent him a text explaining what happened and refunded him ALL of his money.

I got accused of lying and selling them to someone else. Check my ebay feedback (same username) because it is perfect. I'm an honest seller.

This buyer is unreasonable and vindictive. I wouldn't recommend anybody sell to him because he will ruin your feedback when circumstances are out of your control.
chopperman69 left me retaliatory negative feedback because it's irresponsible of a seller to put something in a position to get stolen after payment was received. I missed out on a great deal on wheels because of this. I firmly believe that he was shellshocked by the shipping costs, and/or sold them locally. I do not deserve negative feedback because I paid him for a product and failed to receive it, although he did issue a refund.

Looks like you've got a few choices. You can tell the truth about the transaction and you can remove the negative/untrue feedback. When you do, I will remove what I left for you which is all true.

I've got proof of everything that happened. Paypal transactions AND a police report.

I've got nothing to lose here. I can pop up under a new username and go about my business. You are not so lucky. Your choice.

Think about it before you flame someone next time.

Bad deal for both involved, and it seems the best thing is for both to just forget it and move on. No reason to **** and moan.

If he has a police report to prove it and you got a full refund, I don't see why you would have even left him negative feedback in the first place?

You know what, no one lost money except the guy selling the wheels. Instead of being understanding, you are being a whiny !@#%^ over it and it's pretty sad.

wow you guys are so smart! i hope to one day be smart like the you!!!

actually, i ended up losing money over it, i missed out on a set of wheels in the meantime because i had anticipated him shipping these wheels.

if someone pays you for something, you don't leave it in a position where it can easily get stolen - I.E outside in your truck's bed...

when you site to store something from walmart, they don't just leave it out in the parking lot for you to go get.

please teach me to smart guys!!! you are so geniuses!!!!!! it is not even a the!!

I have done this... I have a truck with a tonneau cover that locks.. if I was selling wheels I would probably pack it and put it in the back of my truck so I don't have to do it the next day or what not just to have it ready. if he has not had any break in or anything why would he suspect that it would be stolen this time? **** happens bro. a little exaggerated with the walmart example..

They were his wheels until they were in your possession. No mater what happened, he refunded you all your money. I don't think that deserves a negative feed back. Accidents happen.

OP, do you also complain to the BBB whenever a gas station gets robbed?? It could've been your gas.
