Default A little concerned about 2001zz

I sent a paypal for a torque converter a couple weeks ago. Still haven't seen anything. On monday he promised me to get the tracking number because "it should be there anytime" but I have yet to get that or another response from him in PM or email since that time. I just went back and looked at my PM history with him and realized there's info there that should have raised flags earlier but I didn't catch them. One, he uses a hotmail email address. Two, he uses a PO box for a mailing address. This has me worried now.

Anyone know of him?

EDIT: as I was typing this my email ringer went off. The email I sent to his hotmail account came back as undeliverable. Now I'm REAL worried...

Update:
I have a friend who is good at finding people do some digging and I now have a proper street address, a phone number, and some other info on Matt. I tried calling but the phone rang non-stop with no answer or machine.

here's the original thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/255009-no-resonable-offer-refused.html

first contact was new year's day. I sent a partial paypal within a day or two and the rest a day or two later. I PM'd him last week and on monday he responded saying it should be here anyday but he didn't have the tracking number handy, he would have to dig it up. Haven't been able to get a hold of him since.

I don't consider it a loss yet, I assume something just held him up somewhere. Other people report decent transactions with him in the searches I have done. But to not hear anything since he said he would ship it the next day, and then to see his email is blocked on this board, and his paypal is a closed hotmail account is very unsettling. Then add in his PO box mailing address (though I do have a street address for him now) really has to raise some eyebrows. Hopefully it's all just a misunderstanding and lack of communication and not a case of direct avoidance.

Update: I got a hold of him by phone tonight and he promised me he has sent it out. Still doesn't have a tracking number though. Said he would look for it and post ont he board or call me back. Hopefully he's a man of his word.

that email account is not closed, and yes the converter is on its way. I have sold at least 20 thousand worth of parts over the net and all of my buyers are happy. Trust me it is on its way so please delete this thread

I'll be happy to delete it when I get a tracking number or the converter. Until then I have to leave it here as a timeline of events.

I now am also adding to this list. Bought a spring tool from 2001zz. Was told that it was on the way on the 15 of Jan and it is now the 23rd. . I have sent a pm to 2001zz and after being online twice he didnt read it. I Also just sent an email and it was returned "undeliverable". After I receive what I have paid for or a tracking number I will change my post.

I got the converter today. I started this thread January 20th. The package was actually shipped January 21st. Here is the tracking number: 1Z 000 5AW 03 3899 715 4

When you track it, if you click on "view detail" the entire history of the package is on it.

I know sometimes you don't get things out when you want to. I have had that happen myself on several occasions. Things happen. But don't tell someone you shipped it long ago when you haven't. Just explain why you haven't and get it going, and provide a tracking number.

I won't argue when you dropped it off as compared to when they actually shipped it. But if the UPS store was in the habit of sitting on packages for 2 weeks after they are dropped off before actually shipping them out, they would be out of business.

OK , I just pissed now. This is the most rediculious thing I have ever delt with. The USPS doesnt keep a package for over 2 weeks to wait to ship it. All this guy says is that it was shipped. I have wasted my money and time with this guy.

Pro Stock , is there anything saying that I cant post in his thread where he is selling the tool about my problem.??
