Default onesweetz06 - Bad Seller

This dude is a piece of work. Bought a set of head studs from him a couple weeks back and they arrived in a damaged box missing several pieces. Wife accepted the box He said it wasnt his fault that the shippers screwed up the box but if he had bothered to package them correctly it would have never happened. I tried to get him to give me my money back because I didn't want to mess with a claim and he refused. To make matters worse, he had advertised them as in perfect shape but they are damaged by the stud remover, cut up and one stud had it's threads flattened.

In our conversations he has constantly disregarded that he screwed up packaging and has blamed me like I am trying to pull one over on him.

Name is James Boyd and he lives in Tampa, FL.

If I was the seller I would refund the money and file a claim with the shipper, but thats just me.

yeah mee too. I've even paid to repair something that was damaged in shipping but the seller threw out the box before a claim could be made.

Damn, hate to say I was going to buy these but you beat me to it. I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and get new ones, I don't need these kind of problems. Sucks bro, I hope you guys can come to some kind of agreement.

SS2WIN--- First off that box was stuffed with paper so thats a lie...and the nuts and washers were in a zip lock bag... That set was complete, I suppose if any box is torn open during shipment then something has a chance to fall out...That's why you purchase insurance... Which you did not request...Then if the something happens to the shipment your covered..... I've sold tens thousands of dollars worth of car parts over these forums over the years which half the people who already responded to this thread can verify...I think I have a grasp on whats involved in shipping a small set of head studs..... I tried several times to resolve this with you and your are not willing to budge at all.......You don't want to wait for me to file a claim for the basic $100 that Fed Ex covers because you know that the package should have never been accepted by you in the first place if it was torn that bad when it showed up to your door.....

You've said all that a thousand times but I'm not lying. No need to. That is how the box arrived, you could see the bolts through the hole and they were rattling in the box LOOSE. That is how they arrived. Again no lie. You could have packaged them better. Own up to it. I'm not even going to start on the condition not matching your description, the dime store washer or why you deleted the post. Maybe a mod can bring that post back.

If you want to make this right then refund my money. I've already said that I will cooperate with anything you need to do with FexEX..

OK onesweetz06, you know I was ready to let this go because I don't have the time to mess with it but now I think that if I let you get away with this you'll feel free to treat other people this way.

If you still insist that I am lying then why dont you check out my web site http://www.florida4x4.com and ask anyone there about my integrity. I have not told anyone on my site of this incident (yet) and you can get a fresh opinion about me from people who have delt with me for over 4 years. After that lookup florida4x4 on ebay and read the feedback.

Let's get this settled or I'll find out what I can do through the legal system. If you will replace the missing parts with ARP (as you offered before) then I'll consider that fair. Check the web page I posted here for a parts list.

Hey he got me too, Nice set of 918's and retainers I was supposed to be getting, no retainers and the springs are stock LS1, I had my doubts when there was no blue stripe on the springs, but now I have no doubts, along with 75lbs at 1.8 inches. I sent you a PM not that you will respond.

pm returned.. here's the link to the springs you bought from me. I had just bought them off a forum member a few months before I sold them to you.. https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/360921-918s-block-heads-etc.html just a side note here I bought these comp 918 springs from a forum member on 8/4/05 and sold them to you on Jan. 22, 2006.. It has been 7 months since you bought these springs from me and you are now claiming they are not 918's....WOW

Sorry I was in Afghanistan and just got back, I had someone that was interested in them but I thought I should check them first before selling to make sure they were infact 918's as I had my doubts. And there were no steel retainers in the box as we discussed in the PM's between us. If they are in fact 918's why don't you refund my money as you can sell them easy for what I paid?? I will even pay the shipping back to you!!
