A member of this forum known as InSaneLs1 and ssforu2nv, named John Shiel, of Orlando Florida (possibly has stated New Jersey to some victims) has been using a number of e-mail addresses, ebay ID's, and various Corvette and F-Body forums to sell various Camaro / Corvette / LS1 related items. He shill bids his own auctions and then he either doesn't ship, or ships junk. His ebay accounts have been suspended and I have gathered statements from more than 20 of his victims. You may have also dealt with him as: jsemotorsports, ls1vettecya, oneluvdiva, crazyvette, zohhsix, zo6e or zo6eb. I will swear out complaints against John Shiel. I plan on leaving for FL on Dec 7th. Hopefully this will lead to his arrest. There is no promise that I or anyone else will recover their losses, but it is likely that upon conviction the Judge will order restitution and judgments will be entered against him if he doesn't repay his victims. If YOU have been a victim of this person, here is what I would like from you before I file my complaints if you are willing to have your statement added to the pile of statements from his victims:
A statement in chronological order of all of the facts to the best of your recollection from the first time you knew he existed to the last time he has contacted you. No profanity or unsubstantiated accusations, unless you are quoting him. State the forum or site that was used to initiate your contact or transaction (EBay, LS1Tech.com etc) and give your user name, e-mail address, and a summary of the initial transaction agreement ("I agreed to pay $50.00 for decals" or "He agreed to pay $800.00 for wheels" etc). The more detail the better, but keep to facts rather than emotion if possible. Attach any supporting documents such as e-mails, a printout of the actual auction page or forum ad, auction ID and Auction number, forum ID, photos of what was actually shipped - if anything, and a description of the damage or misrepresentation. Towards the end of your statement include a line stating "I swear or affirm that the above facts are true, and am willing to swear to them in a court of law". Finally, your name, address, and a phone number. It doesn't have to be your residence, but the courts must be able to reach you. You will receive notices of proceedings from the courts if you are on the complaints as a witness or victim. Please type or use a computer if possible. If it has to be hand written please make sure it is totally legible. Once you have the statement complete, do NOT sign it. Take it to a notary public and sign it in their presence. They will stamp, sign, and date it upon verifying your identity. Generally a driver's license will suffice but call ahead in your state. Most currency exchanges and some banks offer this service, as well as some police departments and city halls. There may be a small fee (a dollar or two). After it has been signed and notarized, mail it and all of the supporting documentation to:

I backed out on the deal when I realized who he was, so I have not been personally scammed. However this guy, under different names has been doing this for 2 years on several boards.

I believe you all are referring to ***** Boy. If so you can locate him through CamaroZ28.com under the Florida section. If it is him, he just wrecked his car and did about $7,000 damage to it.

"***** Boy" is another Alias of Jason Pierce

Look for:

Address around the Orlando/Oviedo area
Majority of posts are in classifieds
Conflicting purchases
Local board members do not know him
Profile location conflicting shipping address

He has a particular pattern the way he goes about his sales. I've seen it so much I can pick up on it pretty quick. He changes addresses, #'s, and even listed names frequently.

Wow, Im really surprised that he is on the bad seller list. I was a little late in sending out the borla exhaust I sold him, but it was to make sure that his check cleared, which it did. I never thought I was dealing with this Jason character. Are you sure that the jason in florida is this "ls1vettecya" or "insanels1" because he told me he has his own business and such. Please keep us updated.

InsaneLS1 is NOT JASON PIERCE. I know John personally and he is a good guy. I've known John for about 3 years now and this sgt538 guy is a nimrod. He's posted on 3 or 4 different boards now about John and supposedly is coming down here to have him arrested LMFAO. It all comes down to this. sgt and John had a bad deal on ebay or something like that. And sgt538 is one of those guys that it's just not possible to please no matter what you do. John on many occasions has bent over backwards to try and please people he sells things to on ebay with no luck. If you look at his feedback on ebay on the name he sells on zohhsix he has like 380 something feedbacks and maybe out of those 380 14-15 negatives. It is a shame jerks like this guy slander someones name all over the internet so he cant sell anything anymore. I even helped John install the borla you sold him minty. Anyone on this board that knows me knows I have a good reputation and I wouldn't go out on a limb and put my reputation on the line if John were really a scammer like sgt538 says. This whole thing about coming down to Florida to have John arrested is hilarious.

Jsears and I were in a deal for a trade. His Borla exhaust for my used Nitto DRs + Cash. He freaked out cuz he saw I was from Orlando, hence the whole Jason Pierce BS.

I even agreed to send him the wheels and the cash first, and then he could send me the Borla, he refused and said he wasn't comfortable with the deal. So nothing happened.

For what it's worth I have met Jason pierce along with some of his friends, so who ever has been ripped off my him, feel free to e-mail me and I will do what I can.

With regard to this BS post by SGT538, who just continues to make things up, I have never scammed anyone on here. He claims he has an investigation going against me, which is totally bogus and not even legal. ANything related to fraud is a CIVIL matter. Everything he mentioned above is totally untrue and anyone else on here can vouch for me as well as others on ls1.com.

People see Orlando and they immediately think Jason Pierce. MacGyver(Will) is from Orlando as well, and is a personal friend of mine.

I am not even going to get into the BS post started by SGT538, this has been going on for a while and I am not getting into the headache of defending myself again. I have never had a problem on Ls1tech or Ls1.com and have been doing business for almost 2 years.

First of all Minty, it took you a MONTH to send the exhaust AFTER the check cleared. You e-mailed me day after day saying it would go out the next day. That went on for over 2 weeks. You THEN said you would send a refund to me for the amount of time it took for me to get the parts, a nice gesture on a shipping refund for the delay. YOU NEVER SENT IT, nor responded to any of my NUMEROUS further e-mails. I really don't care about the $20 or so, it's the principle of the matter.

So before coming on here, get your story straight. The transaction between you and I was a while ago, I am over it, so don't bring up old news

I somewhat recently picked up my chrome ZR1 wheels from John Shiel and while the transaction did take a while to closeout.....I did infact receive the merchandise I paid for. Not the most painless transaction I've had, but alot better than my deal with Derrick Backeburg.

Sometimes I wonder why countries can't just get along with each other ... then I see things like this happen, when people, who are supposed to be part of the same "community" be it a car forum or what not, bashing each other ...

For what is worth ... I received InSaneLs1's payment over Paypal, promptly. I would do business with him again. He seems like an honest guy. Just my 2 cents.

I know this is my first post on this board but I have done many deals with InSaneLs1 (john shiel)on the ls1.com board without a single problem.Hell I even sent him stuff first before i recieve PAYMENT !!!and he allways PAYS ME!!!
