What to do about neg feedback retaliation

What to do about neg feedback retaliation Ok lets say you buy a part from someone. They never send you the part so you file with paypal to get your money back. You want to leave neg feedback for them so other people will know not to buy from them, but you dont want neg feedback left on yours by them in retaliation. Is there anything that can be done to protect a buyers feedback if they paypalled and have all the info to prove this? If the bad seller leaves bad feedback can a mod take it off?
Talk to GEARHEAD the mod she will help you out. I had the same delima and she took care of it for me. Good Luck

I had that issue with some schmuck that used to sell movies. He was an Ebay Power Seller with nearly 13,000 sells. His name was MyteByte1. The only negative feedback I have ever had on ebay out of 110 feedbacks. I bought a friggin' $12.00 movie from him and left negative feedback. he retaliated with something like, 'YOU GET A NEGATIVE!!!! YOU LOSE!!!! Do not buy from member, member is part of international smuggling ring!!!!!!' .
Apparently this guy was pirating copyrights blatantly. I took it up with PayPal and didn't expect anything to happen. I went back about a month later and it stated he was no longer a member of Ebay. They actually booted him. Though he had a lot of positive feedback, he screwed a few folks and they apparently had complained, as well. Until folks take the time to go through the formal complaint process, this person you are speaking will continue to do this to people. With a few legitimate complaints, ebay WILL act ... no matter if they have a PowerSeller status or or not. Please put another nail in this bad persons coffin and take the time to formally complain with Ebay.

haha yea that just happened to me on ebay too. and they would take his feedback off of my account even though I payed instantly through paypal and held up my end of the deal.

Oh ... sorry ... anyway, as was said by someone else, the moderators are good about making things right on here. They should take care of it for you if you can provide them with the exchange information which clearly indicates he/she was just being adick.

I left him neg feedback, so he retaliates and leaves some on me....The only way the Mods took it off, was if I said it was ok to remove the negative from him.....Talk about F#$& up!!!! What can ya do, I wanted it off my name....

Well it does seem that way to me as well. If you can prove you paid for it and you save all of your pms then why shouldnt the neg feedback be allowed to stay on them so future buyers can be warned. What I have learned you can do is when someone scams you.....go into anything else they try to sell and post they scammed you so buyers will know

Yea i had heard you were very good about making everything fair for people on here. Oh yea thanks for banning yobabiesdaddy! One less crook to worry about for the moment
yeah go check out my negative feedback from member twink, i paypaled immediately for a t-body & when i got it it was not as described at all it has welding on it in several places & cracked & falling out epoxy. i sent him numerous pms about the part & he never wrote back until i came to the feedback forum & told all what happened,then he responded & said to send it back COD he would take it back, at first i didnt want to but i ended up sending it back to him COD & he never picked it up at his local post office, so they sent it back to me a month later & so now i am out even more money for COD fees & shipping & i get negative feedback for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please go read the feedback he left me! do you think it should be removed???
