I was talking to him about a set of scat rods and he seemed pretty legit. He even sent me a picture of the rods. I paid for them on November 16th, 2007. Here's our pm conversation up to that point:
After quite a few days of not recieving a tracking number or any future information I sent silverbullet a PM and email on November 26th asking for an update. On November 29th, 2007 I recieved a reply:
The exact same day shortly after I received this pm I sent her a reply via email:
Kara,
I'm sorry about Mike's accident and hopefully it's not too bad. I ordered the
scat H beam rods from him. There should be 8 of them. He sent me this picture of
them if that helps you out.

I then recieved this a little later also on the 29th, and haven't heard anything since then.
thank you for that my husbands best friend is coming over on Friday to help me get the right parts with the right addresses so i will get them sent out asap i am sorry for any trouble this has caused you.

Since then I have sent multiple pms and emails to silverbullet aka Mike or Kara Carr and not recieved any replies. I filed a paypal dispute and won, but there was no money in their account so I recieved no form of reimburstment. I know I am not the only one who was scammed by the same person. I know there's at least four others and I shall be sending them pms to reply in this thread. I have a few leads from members about contact information, but nothing concrete yet. I'd also like to thank GEARHED for figuring out some information for me. If anyone has any contact information I would greatly appreciate it if you could post it and / or pm it to me.

had same prob with seller. Bought some parts, paid for them, he was super fast to respond to my questions. once he had my money, he disappeared. Ended up getting $100 back, he still owes me $200. I would send him PM's everyday and would see he is on the site everyday , but he never replied to one...

Same exact thing happened to me. Paid for a set of E-fans, got all the same excuses and never received anything. Won the dispute, but didn't get any money back. Tried pming everyone he delt with in the past, but no one seemed to have any information either.

Thanks for posting up your stories guys. I've got a few leads on an address from people who bought stuff from him before and one who went to his house. Hopefully they'll get back to me soon.

I win. I just got sent the ultimate tip off. I'm going to do some scouting and confirm 100% that it's legit. I'm pretty sure it is. It correlates well with everything I've been told so far. One hell of a birthday present.

Yeah, I'll be calling California Highway Patrol Monday or Tuesday to find out who's jurisdiction that is. I've got to get all my records down today or tomorrow and hand them over to the local police department. We'll see what comes from there. I also need to see if I can get everyone elses information that way it will seem like a larger problem to the police department.

I'm having difficulty with bellsouth letting me get into my email account that I have them all saved in. I really need to get to this. I have all next week off with spring break. I'll get it all done starting tomorrow and keep this updated.
