I know the specs say 320 horses for ws6 but does anyone know what the car actually pushes at the wheels?

So thats like 345-373fwhp with 15% drivetrain loss . I always wondered that since Furd got in trouble for overating the Cobra, could GM have gotten in trouble for underating the F-bod

I got 313rwhp on my 02 WS6 stock (eg. with paper filter) with 1200 miles. But then again, the '02s were rated 325hp not 320.

Mine put out 321 RWHP with just a lid, and it's a lowly formula

My stock (non ram air) convertible dynoed at 323.6 RWHP.That's like 380 at the flywheel,w/lid and a catback.

Your lowly formula will dyno just as much as every other LS1 out there.

FWIW, my '00 Z28 only dyno'd at 293rwhp stock expect I pulled out the MAF already.

My 02 Z28 put out 270rwhp on a Mustang dyno when it was stock. With a lid and cutout it put down 288rwhp and ran 13.0@108mph with a 2.0 60 foot bogging BAD.

With a lid, cutout and dry shot of nitrous it put down 385rwhp and ran 11.72@118mph with a 1.66 60 foot.

Inour cars an LS1 is an LS1 and most will dyno just about the same regardless of trim and options level. The newer cars definately dyno higher, though. Higher flowing intake and/or exhaust manifolds, depending on the year. My '98 Z28 only put down 320/337 with a lid, longtubes, and true duals.

It's more dependant on year and tranny then WS6 or SS. A 99 auto WS6 can dyno as little as 280 RWHP but a 2002 Manual WS6 can put down 325 RWHP. The regular TA's will dyno about the same as the WS6.
