Default SLP Exhaust

I just purchased a 2001 Camaro SS SLP last weekend. It has the center mount stock slp exhaust. Would i be able to put the SLP Loudmouth 1 on it but keep the center mount tips. IF anyone knows if this will work let me know. Thanks.

Should work, might have to add a hanger or two.
I took my stock exhaust off for the LM1, then swapped that out for the dual/dual (aka power-flo), then later added the CME to that.

The LM1 sounds like **** IMO.
The CME changed the sound of my power-flo a little, maybe it'll make the LM tolerable, doubt it though.

The LM1 still sounds good until you do longtubes, then it's time for a swap in my opinion. It gets really raspy when you put them on. But yes the exhaust will adapt for the Loudmouth.

you could try a loudmouth 2 (direct fit) or a borla, i believe xr1?, muffler. they call it, "borla mouth". its pretty sweet.

i have lm1. most people who think it doesn't sound good at all never heard it, it just has a bad rep that gets spread. well, at least on a stock car. if you plan on removing the cats or getting headers, stay away. otherwise there is no rasp.

I have the LM1 with SLP redesigned LT's and cats. I wish i had a before and sound bite but I did notice a difference. I like the way it sounds with the headers. Other hot rodders in my area give compliments about my exhaust notes. They ask what brand I have and I tell them.
