I bought a hood that looked like that from a local guy.
I had to cut out the openings, the fresh air ducts appear functional, they're not.
The reason they are not is the way the hood was two pieces of fiberglass, a top piece and a bottom piece, glued together. The result was a 1/2" gap between the two, which would allow any air entering the top to just leak out everywhere on the bottom, not just in front of the airbox.
The factory hood is solid SMC, maybe muliple pieces, but there are no gaps in the air duct.
The other problem I had was fitting it. I removed at least 1/2" over each headlight before the damn thing would even close. Then I had to cut a piece out of the bottom layer to get the hood to not slam the MAF with it shut.
After all that it fit ok, but then you could see the hours and hours of block sanding needed if you ever intended to put gloss paint on it, and the hood struts were starting to crack the top of the hood.
It fit my car pretty good after all this. When I did an even trade for a factory (non SS) hood, this one that fit my car ok didn't fit the other guys car so well. Stuff that couldn't be adjusted out.
Notice I do have a real SS too so I could do a side by side comparison, I'm not guessing.
