Man, couldnt be easier. Just did a set of the umi ones a few days ago, just jack the ***, and let the rear hang. I did mine with sub-frames cause they use the same bolt on one end, but its just two bolts and it was cake. 30mins to and hour.

Like gyrene2003 said they are very easy to put in. They were one of my very first mods.

know that you should torque them down properly to compress the poly bushing. torque specs are 80 ft lbs for the lca bolts.
you should torque down the lca bolts with the rear loaded (weight on the tires, car on the ground, etc).
keep them greased too - get a grease gun to plug into the grease fitting.

if they're not torqued down properly, they'll make noise. if they're not greased, they'll make noise or damage the bushing.

in case ws6store doesn't include it...

^^^^^^I apologize, he is correct on those tourqe specs, and as someone who worked on alot of Humvees in the military, i can vouch for how important it is too grease them, and contrary to what alot will tell you DONT OVER GREASE! you can destroy the bushings same as if you dont grease them at all. 2 or 3 pumps of grease is more than enough, dont do what many do and pump until its oozing out of the bushings, cause thats over greased. ive seen the result of this.

alright thanks for the responses, so I should install them with the car on jack stands and the rearend hanging, then tighten them up, then drop the car on the ground and torque them?

Don't tighten them up with the rear hanging. Install the new arms, load the rear suspension then tighten and torque your bolts.

the lakewood rear lower control arms just got here, and on the instructions it says fits 82-92, but on the order it says fits 82-02, so 82-02 all have the same rear lower control arms?
