And maybe Terminators race in CA, not so much here, from what I've seen. TERMINATORS are hard to find at a drag strip, around here. They'll run you all day long from a roll on the street, but most will not go to the track.

It's about utitilizing TQ. And your 'big time drag racer' comment was also LAME!...as no one here is a big time drag race, like yourself. Pro's are CONSTANTLY tweaking and changing things to squeeze all they can.

On a 4V mod forum, you say? Is that where we are? There are cars on this board who gain nothing and some that gain a little. It's more of a crap shoot. The best gains would be had from dialing in the gear and tire height for optimal rpm at the traps. Which isn't the same as just throwing in a set of random gears and hoping for the best. Us big time racers know that.

I just found a handful of 3000+ converters for $400 or less in the classifieds. TCI, fuddle, SLP, etc... None that I would use but some people swear by them. For $600-700 you can get a bad *** converter (like the one I just gained 7 tenths off of) and no set of headers will compete with that.

U have to remember u put a 4000+ stall in ur car from what i remember seeing in another post which i would never daily drive. i know people do it all the time but just seems insane for me. so picking up .7 with a 4000 or high stall is about right. u can pick that u and add another 3 to 4 tenths wth headers! Nice time by the way to
i would never buy a used converter. thats just asking for problem and to note slp doesn't make a 3000+ converter. there biggest is 2600 from what i understand

i am fully aware that a converter will do more for my car then headers and i do agree with u about put a converter in then doing exhaust. I would rather pull the trans then do headers. There both not that bad of a job but i hate exhaust for some reason. Also to add my cars not loud until u get on it. Its far from being annoying
