You can have nitrous on the car but I'm not agreeing to a nitrous race. Otherwise that's fine. I have full bolt ons minus headers. Raceweight is around 3450.

Wow, can't believe this thread is still going strong. What was the OP's question again, LOL. Somebody sure does talk alot of **** for a heads and cam car that weighs 500 pounds less than a bolt on car, but still won't run without the juice. I'm not really on either side of the deal, but that's a joke.

Well to be fair, I said 3450 raceweight which would be 3230 curb weight. So 300 only lbs lighter. Still doesn't make much sense.

Mustangs are not impressive. my 11 year old car has owned the **** out of several years of the new GT's, i've walked a non supercharged 07 saleen from a 50 roll. and i ran a 04 saleen from a 65 roll and he BARELY! got away... i mean he pulled a car length on me from 65 to 110.... and thats w/ a blower.

Im not trying to start **** really... mustangs sound really nice... and girls think there cute.... and i mean... modded cobras are the ****.... but still... Hell stock to stock my cousins 02 firehawk was a TENTH slower than what a cobra can run stock to stock...

as far as the 2 Fbody owneres arguing back and forth... WHAT THE **** IS YOUR PROBLEM... YOU DRIVE THE SAME TYPE OF CAR... QUIT ARGUING W/ EACHOTHER.... You're acting like honda owners...!

omfg....... im 200 pounds and my car w/ a full tank of gas when i took it to the track was exactly 3800 pounds.... i WISH i could be 3450 race weight... theres under a 100 pound diff in the hardtop to the droptop... how are you so light...

You sir are about as dumb as Jon. Beating an S197 S281 is NOTHING to brag about in an LS fbod (assuming you are refering to a 98, since you didnt' disclose that). If you had any brains you would have known that those are ACTUALLY SLOWER than basic GT's DUMBASS. And beating a new edge S281S/C is ALSO A JOKE seems how those are 5psi stock and put down a tad over 300 BUT WEIGHT almost as much as a terminator. YOU SIR are the typpe of IGNORANT tards that I talk **** to, because you come in here bragging abotu **** that you OBVIOUSLY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!.......Here's one for you, my 'bolt on' 300/320 mach 1 beat a new edge S281sc....WOOPDEE FUCING DOOO...and you say only terminators are impressive. My car with a full tank, 40lbs of sub/amp and me (220-230) was 3780. A full tank of gas is 100lbs (assuming gas is 6lbs/gal). So you could easily lose 75-85 lbs there and still be able to drive to the nearest gas station when you left.

Spare tire/jack, front sway bar, back seat, bumper supports, carpet backing, misc. brackets and heat shields. Also I have skinnies that saved me about 40 lbs. And other than not having fog lights (which could be made to work) it's completely unnoticeable. I mean until I have a flat or get in a wreck anyway.
