I find it interesting AGAIN, that you're proof of gearing not improving is ONE STEP UP gear change, but you say 1900 to a 2600 isn't much a stall increase.

Fact is, you are an idiot when it comes to gearing, you have a BAD habit of back peddling, and you can't admit when you're wrong. The truly sad part is your info shows you as being 27, but you're acting like you're 19.

 

2 performance? Don't know what you mean by that. You've haven't even been driving for 10 years. You don't know **** and avoid my questions to you all together.

How many gears have I swapped, I'm obviously against it. I have seen gear swaps in addition to mods that should have helped performance and the car ran basically the same. I know that really means nothing. I've also seen cars do stupid **** like as gears and run radials and spin to run a good second slower. The only thing that I base by statements on is that I have continually seen cars with more gear run the same times as cars with stock gear. Some had more mods some had less. Again not solid proof, but I'm sticking to my guns.

But the same could be said to you, you haven't seen any f-body gear swaps where gear alone made more difference than weather factors. Please start a poll in where gear swaps were the only change with solid proof of gain or loss by said gear swap.

1900 to 2600 is a sizable stall difference, but not worth the trouble of putting it in. You said 2300 stall and I said 2800 stall. What does 2600 have to do with anything? I don't even what you meant by that statement about my proof?

Again, I haven't back peddled not once. Please quote me where I have. Not only have I said these same things in this thread but plenty of others in the past.

First off it was never me coming out there. I said find a track half way, you found one a 1/10 of the way.

If you remember correctly I don't even know what you have. I only assumed that I knew what you had. So keeping it the way it is really means nothing to me.

I'm bringing a stock geared, stock manifold car, stock internal car with full interior (minus back seat) a/c, power steering. Just the way that it sits right now.

And no street racing or rolling. This isn't about how you can **** kick or out mph a bolt on car on the street, nobody said that you didn't have more power. Times, clocks, win lights, no bullshit. I really don't care about your stock 10 bolt with 4.10s. If they won't last, who cares. You're car is supposed to do what you designed it to do, as is mine.

I'll put in the effort to find a track. And if anyone on here knows of a track around the TN/NC boarder, post it.

i will let you know that pony has owned cars that have a much lower gear than yours, they had headers, and were much faster..

and i promise you that pony knows 10X's more about car than you do... i wouldnt get into that subject....

pony is a very knowledgeable person... half the time he calls BS on the mustang guys that are saying they beat someone else... he is not a one sides person... there are a few stang owners on this site that ONLY defend stangs, pony is most def. not one of them..
