Default $1500 for LS1 with 110,000 miles with the 4l60e

Is this a good price? The guy claims the motor has been maintained well, etc. I was thinking of getting this and dropping it into a third gen camaro. What do you guys think?

That is an excellent deal. Transmission is almost worth that if it is in decent shape. Does it come with the wiring harness/pcm? Either way I say go for it.

I paid $2000 for mine, 40k miles but stock cam was toast. No wiring harness, maf, or pcm.

Sounds like a decent deal if it comes complete, but with that many miles I would make 100% sure you rebuild the transmission before it goes in or it will be coming right back out.

Even just for a good engine that's not a bad deal. If the transmission needs to be rebuilt you still come out ahead.

a4 transmission is not almost worth that at all especially for that kind of mileage but it's still a good deal like someone else said check the compression of each cylinder
