i'd like to repaint my clamshells and i got my prothanes in from summit last night - does anyone have any tips on taking clamshell metal down to bare metal? i've got most of the rubber off but i've been scraping for two hours and there's still some black rubber caked on. i also tried burning it but that didn't work out too well...it got some but not all of it.
should i soak it in something? pressure wash it?
thanks for any help/advice

Do you have a wire brush head for a angle grinder? http://www.restockit.com/4-Knot-Wire...F1&Bvar7=100F1
