ive seen the roots style blower on a few vettes but never on a f-body...does it not fit because of the big dash? i would be interested if there was one out there, even if some minor hood modifications would be necessary!
just curious

Someone on here did it. Search around, he has his own webpage I believe. I also think he sold the car or is selling it. I think its cool, it might not be the best bang for the buck but its definitely not something you see on f bodys all that often.

the magnacharger wont fit by itself in the fbody, the engine sits too far back. one of the sponsors (late model speed) sells a kit for it to fit but it all costs too much money imo.

www.mtiracing.com -this is the company that came out with the most recent roots style blower kit for the ls1 fbody.

Builds character alright...just don't have any little kids near by. I don't know how much cussing there was. My friend that helped me with a vacume hose at his shop put his arms back there for 10 seconds...and saw blood. I learned to put my arms inbetween the screws, and just move my wrists only lol.

Look up (do a search for) Late Model Speed. Contact Ed. The 2300 series should be coming out soon. If I'm correct, it is the same Harrop design that is going on the LS9. Ed was telling me that it packs all of the low end, off the line punch, and still keep up 15+ psi on a big engine on the top end. The top end was always where the 112 and 122 units fell short. The fact that GM chose the 2300 for the killer LS9 says a lot.
