Default Stock idle

I am looking to do a CAM SWAP, I am looking to have a cam that idles close to stock. Does any one have any tips on what route to go? I already searched and can't find anything? My main goal is to do a 150 shot of nitrous but I want a cam as well.

PS I have a 99 LS1 Camaro

Take a look at the "Old Man Cam" and the CheaTR cam from Thunder Racing.

I was thinking of the CheaTR cam but I haven't found any sound clips of it. I live in California so I don't want a big loping cam to be the cause of me getting pulled over.

I'm doing a CheaTR on the 01 SS if I get it. Pat G made 400 to the wheels through stock exhaust with AFR 205s and a tune. (I may go Dart, not sure yet ) It is hard to find a sound clip of it though as far as I've seen, but I imagine the idle sounding stock, but like you have big rockers and heavy springs.

get whatever and get it ground on a 114lsa. Just dont go too much duration. Probably keep it around 226 and under and you will be fine. Just keep the exhaust quiet

The Lingenfelter GT11 cam. Picked up 60rwhp with a car that already had all the bolt ons (lid, TB, Headers, Rockers, catback, Converter).

tr224 114 will sound stock through a stock exhaust but idle will have to be raise a bit if you are an auto.
