pullies? noob question but ....okay my motor was built at a speed shop, and the guy wound up adding and underdrive pulley.....i know this adds power, ...the rest of my pullies are all stock, i noticed texas speed had other pullies for sale and i was wondering if i can pick up any noticable/worthwhile power replacing the other pullies other than the underdrive? thanks

if hes puting an underdrive pully on it make sure its not aluminum 80 % of aftermarket underdrive pullys are aluminum and there not for belts also Slp's model of there underdrive pully is known to be make out of steel and to charge the cars electrial system properly . GUYS...he said it already has an underdrive pulley.
the only other pulley generally available is for the alternator...and typically those are designed to "overdrive" the alt to maintain near stock charging.
putting an regular underdrive pulley on reduces the charging ability of the alt....so the overdrive alternator pulley remedies that.
there is NO POWER to be gained by adding the other pulley. all the power is gained with the pulley you said you already have installed.
and its about 5-10hp....likely closer to 5.
i have the ASP 25% (i think) underdrive pulley on my car...charging is fine as is, no additional pulley. but manuals tend to be less sensitive than autos.
i DO notice dimmer lights at idle when i have alot of accessories running....lights, radio, wipers, vent...etc...

I have a 25% powerdine and no issues with charger on an auto with stock alt pulley. Just get it all together first to see if you have any problems if you do go ahead and get the overdrive pully for the alt but as stated before no gains from that.
