Default Is this a good setup?

Im picking up a 95 Trans Am with a LS1 swap...the swap is very clean and very stock...im planning on making it my summer DD and strip beast...I've been reading up on some things but would like a lil feedback on what choices i have made on parts...i want it to be n/a....and it will strictly be a bolt on for the time being....then later on down the line i'll get more into the internals and H/C...oh yea and it is a M6

parts list as follows...

Fast LSX 92mm intake
Fast LSX 92mm TB
RAM Street Dual Clutch
Pacesetter Longtubes
True Dual X pipe
Magnaflow bullet mufflers dumped over rear axle
Subframe Connectors
Adjustable LCA's
2 way Adjustable shocks
V6 springs in the rear
Spohn Adjustable Panhard bar
a chassis mounted torque arm
ford 9in rear end with a detroit locker
4.11s gears
Spohn Pro Series Drag Sway Bar
Carbon Fiber Driveshaft
Motormounts and tranny mounts
Willwood Superlite 6 Brake Kit
Dual Walbro 255l fuel pumps
Underdrive Pulley Kit
Meziere Electric Water pump
axles

thats what i have in my mind of what i want to buy...

any feedback on these parts will be helpful

looks solid to me man, all good mods to do, and good companies...you can also get ported MAF ends from texas speed, might be worth looking into

I would guess mid 12's on the coast is what you might get.

After-market airbox? And... you'll need sticky tires to break into the 11's

elevens is really cooking especially with a full weight bolt on car. a mid 12's car is really quite fast. good luck with the build and enjoy one of the best n/a motors ever built, the ls1 of course.

You will need a good sized cam and set of heads to break 11's. I'd say with what you have listed to do a 224/224 or even a 230/230 cam and set of ported 243 heads would put you solid 11's with that 9" and sticky DR's as someone else said. Look into TSP for there 243 ported h/c package. They can get you there good luck.

Isnt in a waste to get 92 mm throttle body and intake on a car with stock (or even mild) cam and heads???

maybe get that later when you do heads and cam??

imo thats solid 12's with a pinch of driver mod.how about a lid/CAI, & injectors to match those monster pumps? Perhaps a Short Shifter? sticky tires will help drop your et down too of course. I'd have to agree with ^ above, With that huge *** intake/tb set up/LT's and stock heads/cam, it might be operating at much lower than its potential.

later on, a bump stick to make her growl and maximize breathing is def. recomended, since you want to stay bolt ons for now

*perhaps a Texas speed 228R, or if you want a lil' more Bite a torquer

my .02

Btw, Nice and Clean set up, very nice parts.

oh my bad i forgot the stuff already on the car...it has the stock 95 t/a ram air hood with some aftermarket lid....and has a short shifter already....as for tires im looking at some nitto 555r's in the rear...and some high performance ones on the front...prolly gonna try and stick some 295's back there...on the big intake/tb subject...i always thought more air in and more air out means more power....engines are basically airpumps...or am i wrong...i havent looked into heads or cams yet...also i chose the 92mm intake and tb because im gonna throw a 2 stage 200 shot on it once i get into the internals

IMHO I'd go with a H/C package first before I sprayed it. That way you can have you cam already custom ground or find one that works well with N20. That way you wouldn't have to change cams or maybe head set-ups later on.

Your missing H/C. I would go with a Futral cam and some AFR heads

when i said internals i also mean the H/C too...i wont go with the spray until i have done everything in my power to make it safe this is gonna be a DD/weekend warrior...and i havent forgot about the H/C those just arent on my priority list until i get back down to the lower 48....

compression determines a lot when you want to run N20. Compression will also determine combustion chamber sizes, piston types, gasket thickness etc...your heads will make your engine way more HP with a cam that is properly matched to the flow rates of the heads at said lift.
