You have to remove the axle shaft out of the axle housing and punch them out. Its not that bad, leave everthing you have apart off. Remove the diff cover. You'll see a pin running through the differental there is a little bolt on one end you remove that. You might have to spin the axle untill the little bolt rolls up. Once the bolt is off push the big pin out of the diff. Then push the axle shaft from the wheel to the center. You shopuld hear a clip drop. There is a C clip holding the axle in. Once the c clip is out slide the axle all the way out. When reinstalling push the axle all the way in and set the c clip in its groove, use a big screw driver and push the axle to the out side of the car so the pin will fit back through the diff.

I just snapped all 5 of my studs off on the 1-2 shift. I ended up pulling the axle out and using an air hammer to punch em in. Worked pretty well, driving just as hard and they havnt broken again.

I think it is easier to take the caliper off and pull the rotor than having to pull the diff cover unless you are due for a fluid change.
After my last trip to the track I snapped two pulling the DR's back off. They had bent. I now keep spares in the glovebox to save me a trip to NAPA
