Do I need a tcs logic. Iam looking to buy a 98-02 SS 6-speed. If I want to make a hard launch or do a burnout without Stalling, do I realy need a tcs logic module.

The only thing the TCS logic module does is reverse the operation of the switch...meaning, when you start the car, the TCS will be OFF instead of ON and you use the switch to turn it on instead of off...not really necessary if you remember to turn off the TCS!

Yeah, it's ASR on Camaro's and TCS on Firebirds. Same thing! 
Funny how GM works? A logic module isn't real expensive and will guarantee you won't forget. Believe me, you will forget at the most inopportune time...like the track or lining up next to some schmo. I'd get one if I were you.
