Default Jack stand on rear trailing arm mount?

Can you support an F-body with stands under the trailing arm mounts?

Wouldn't put it on the Lower control arm mounts, either put it on the rear end or on the rear subframe infront of where the Lower control arms go.

anywhere where a suspension arm hooks to the car is a sturdy enough place. just use common sense.

axle has the sway bar right under it - was told to AVOID doing that as it would bend badly.

Typically points to support a car with jack stands are:

1. Axle tube between the shock mount and the sway bar mount

2. LCA mount on body, it is also used to secure the vehcile down when be transported

3. Rear Subframe, the flat portion by the LCA

Never on the LCA itself or the axle mount for the LCA

dont jack it up by the swaybar but where it mounts to the rear end is fine. i have done that a million times. the mount actually fits particularly well in a jackstand head.

I just put mine under the tube itself, or under the lca body mount.. works fine for me.
