Default Intake question
I have a 1998 trans am with air pump and egr deleted. The question I have is what is the small nipple for on the back of the ls6 intake under the map sensor and do I have to block it off.

i think it needs to be tied in. on mine there was a T junction going to the air pump and i plugged that off leaving the other two sides of the T connected and working.

So do not plug the nipple on the back of the intake?

you are talking about the T on the passengers side by the firewall right?

No sucking holes in the intake manifold. That's got to be
at least Rule 3 or 4. Might be your accessory vacuum for
climate control etc. Use it or cap it.

That small connection is the vacuum feed for the bi-level AC controls, you will want this
