Hey guys, I'm currently installing my LS6 intake and while doing some research I found out that you cant put the EGR valve back onto the new intake. Does anyone know if the make a blcok off plate for the EGR valve? Otherwise what are people doing to take care of the problem of not being able to put it on the new intake.
Thanks,
Jake

i think texas speed has them too but last i heard they were out.
not to highjack this mans thread, but im bout to do the same and since ive got a set of race headers im putting on afterwards, buying the block off plate seems like a waste. can i cut it somewhere or block it off somewhere else so i can drive it to the place thats doing my headers/exhaust?

ah ic, we don't have any emission test here in oklahoma i'm just curious how did you manage to pass, since i believe PA has emission test, oh and by eliminating the EGR/AIR will it throw a CEL or SES light?

I bought the SLP LS6 intake for mine because it has the EGR provisions. But when I put my headers on, I didn't want egr. So I cut the tubes that route down to the headers/manifolds and bent the tube over and smashed it with a vise. And then i bought a plug for the hole in the intake from an autoparts store. It's just a rubber plug with a bolt that runs through it and two washers and an o-ring. I plugged it and it works fine, took the EGR pump off and tuned it out with HPTuners.
