Your dual/dual catback is high flowing enough as it is and very similar to the loudmouth. It would be a waste of money to buy a new catback. Plus when you do SLP longtubes and ORY its going to get a hell of alot louder on your existing setup. I say put on a cutout if you want to be rediculously loud and then you have the option to close it when you don't want to make your ears bleed. The loudmouth is going to sound raspy as hell with longtubes.

i agree with JP too..a buddy of mine has a 99 procharged z28 and had lm1 catback on his with longtubes and o/r y pipe and it was the most annoying car to ride in. he ended up doing exactly what JP said, he got an electric cutout and trashed the lm1 catback and went with a magnaflow catback. sounds nasty even with the cutout closed.

if you want loud and annoying then definitely go for the LM1 with LT's and ORY but everyone I know that has bought a LM1 loved it for the first couple months then couldn't stand it anymore and got rid of it, everyone of them got pulled over a lot because of the exhaust. Good luck with your decision.

The LM1 flows more than the dual-dual. The dual-dual weighs 70lbs and the LM1 is around 10lbs. The LM1 is polished stainless steel, the dual-dual is not. If you have LM1 with full exhaust and it's "too loud"......get a Borla XR1, problem solved.
The dual-dual is a great cat-back and you can take it off and polish it, which looks great btw. Or for even a cheaper mod than a LM1 (or LM2) just get a cut-out.

LM1 sounds great if it is just a catback. When you add LT's and ORY its going to be VERY loud. Personally... I am going with LT's and a catted Y. If it is still to loud I will get a LM2 Resonator or a Borla XR1.

I polished a Magna Decoma catback for my 94Z28 and it was like a metal mirror. Looked sweet as hell from behind

I'd like to hear that setup with the cat. Maybe a sound clip when you do?

Hooker long tubes, ORY and LM1....the LM1 was loud, but I could tolerate it
Then I had the MS3 cam installed and FORGET IT! I got the car back from the cam install/dyno tune and 2 days later put my stock SLP catback on. The LM1 with the cam was just retarted and so loud to the point it was embarrassing. Just idling the car sounded like firecrackers were going off in my tail pipes.
