Default Question on Stock shocks and Springs

ok im going to stock since im going to be selling this car soon, but i got a offer for a 12k mile decarbon shocks from a 2002 z28 and a 2001 camaro ss stock springs. i have a 2002 camaro ss, would this combination be good for my car? cause people say there all the same but when i call the dealership they are telling me there not and it determines by the VIN number of the car. There are 4 types of coil spring for my car is what they say, can any one help me on this and do you think 13k mile 4 shocks decarbon is worth 200 bucks ?

Dude, that's outrageous. I tried to sell my stock decarbons on craigslist for $50 and didn't get one call, they are just hanging on my wall now.

FWIW I threw my decarbons away, and they were the "better" WS6 ones, but I wouldn't pay a dime for them after being on real shocks.
If by "ok" you mean they will fit, then yes, they will fit. Just don't expect good ride quality, control or handling.

Exclamation

not looking for good shocks, just the ones that came with the car when it was shipped to the dealership i got it from years ago. I am trying to put it back to its original form but i ended up throwing away the decarbons and the springs. I have a offer on a spring from a 2001 ss and it its not going to give me the ride quality or similar to it as when i got the car out of the lot i wont get it. Thats why i was asking if i put the 01 springs in the decarbon on my 02 ss would it be sorta the same ride as when you first got it from the car lot.

That was only an option. If not paid for option, then it got the same shocks, springs as the regular model.
