Not a bad deal IMHO. But why ask us you know you gonna get some saying yes and some saying no. What matters is if YOU think it is a good deal.

Here's a better question, what's your budget and how much work/time/money over the next 6 months are you prepared to spend fixing it up and/or keeping it running?

I ask this as any $4500 car is going to need about $2000 spent on it the first 2 years of ownership. You're going to blow a transmission or need brakes, etc.

Brakes on these cars are dirt cheap, with my work discount, i did 4 rotors and front and rear ceramic pads for 158.00 with tax.

I couldnt believe they were so cheap, heck one rotor for my dually was 165.00

If its a decent car, haggle with the guy and see how low he will go. Never hurts to try.

I think I agree with everyone else. That is if it checks out after a test drive.

did anyone else notice the fact that there is a red toggle switch where the traction control but is above the radio? possibly a nitrous switch or just a ricey way to make it looklike it has nitrous when it really toggles the traction control. semmes liek an ok deal but i think you could offer 3500 since it does need a little work.

I love these cars. I have a 6 banger now, so it be nice to give that to my daughter and fix it up for her (shes only 11 but loves it) and the 8s for me! If I test drive it and it checks out, ill offer $3500. Hey every time I look up a ls1 and tranny its over $4000 so I for $500 more I get a car
