Default what to do next....?

i've done a couple small things, stated in my sig.... and i'm wondering where to go next.....
on one hand i can keep doing bolt-ons like LTs, True duals, Springs, Shocks, etc....
on the other.... i can save up and buy a rearend and have it out of the way, or take it another step and save for my heads/cam combo....

ill have somewhere close to ~1200$ by the end of the month...

the car will be a mostly street car, seeing the track maybe 3 times a year

Since you have an A4 you don't need to ditch the 10 bolt right away. I would look at getting a tune, adj T/A, gears, TC.....the list goes on and on.

Either a stall/tune or get the headers/catback/and tune.

I have seen guys post that a stall is the best mod for an auto. i am saving for mine as we speak.

look into what exhaust combo you want. Get a set of LT's and if your doin true duals then sort the options. I would do your exhaust first before getting a tune, just dont run the car hard before you get the tune because with the factory tune your car will be runnin lean (lean mixture could cause detonation at high rpms).

My idea is just to get the small stuff done, tune it, then move on to internal matters.

Look at your RPO codes. Before thinking of upgrading gears, see what you have. for an A4 you'll either have 323's or 343's.

go for a stall, full exhaust and go from there my .02

Don't forget that suspension work goes a long way so don't skimp or forget about it before too long oh yeah don't forget some subframe connectors those probably should be at the top of the list

as far as TA look at UMI their adjustable TA with relocation kit that takes it off the tailshaft of the tranny will fit with any exhaust.

For a street driven car you do not want a tunnel mounted TA it will cause nose dive under braking which causes your rear axle to unload and lock up the brakes.

also, do most true dual systems allow clearance for the 3-point SFCs? i'm wanting to use those as opposed to the 2-point ones...

Suspension is nice to have, but I say go full exhaust first. After that save for an excellent heads/cam combo. Just an FYI, I spent over two grand on a full exhaust and cam, along with all necessary supporting valvetrain mods and a few other little things. Money goes fast so research and plan ahead. Also, as previously stated, gears are an excellent mod.

Yes but if you can't put the power to the ground it is embarrasing getting smoked by a stock car because you are just spinnin the tires.
